I like to make people feel good about themselves, and I like to help people be healthy and have a healthy oral environment, smile, make them feel good about themselves, and be confident in whatever they’re doing.
Well, it was a long story. It started when I was in high school. My uncle was a dentist, and I wanted to work in his office. So, he let me work in his office, and I think I did every little job there was a high school person could do, and he even taught me how to be a dental assistant. And then we decided, “Oh, I should be a dental hygienist.” So, I went to dental hygiene school, and I did that for about 10 years. And while I was living in South Carolina in Charleston, the dental school was staring right at me, and I said, “I think I can do that. I’m gonna do that.” So, I applied to that school and I got in, and now I’m a dentist and I’ve been a dentist for many decades.

Dr. Kathleen Winn wants you and your family to have an amazing dental experience. She and her team use advanced dental technology and have a fun, friendly style to make you feel more comfortable than you ever thought possible.
Dr. Winn offers some of the latest advances in dental technology, including digital X-rays, tooth-colored fillings, and implant dentistry.
Dr. Winn earned her dental degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed her general practice residency at the VA Medical Center in Charleston, SC. Every year, Dr. Winn learns from some of the best clinicians in the country. She also volunteers at the Oasis Free Dental Clinic.
